PUNKT EKLEKTIK SESSION is the initiative of the Eklektik Session artists platform located in Wrocław, Poland. Project combines innovative concepts of Punkt Festival (Norway) with the integrative nature of Eklektik Session. Broad spectrum of common activities planned in 2014, such as special performances, studio workshops, panels and touring, not only allows Polish and Norwegian artists to exchange their experience and set ground for future collaborations but, above all, emancipates essential values in creating art.

"Viper's Eye An Open Wound" is a short collection of musical sketches recorded during holidays 2007-2010. As in the "Groundhog Day" movie, july and august were always the same, each year the same sequention of events. To reflect such experience the most useful was image - bitter, ironic but also subtle and sugestive. Collage of hazy samples, field-recs, lazy seashore psychedelia came to a surrealistic message, warm and melancholic but with a bit of mystery. It's hot afternoon spent on diving into the white noise, reading "Lolita", listening to Washed Out and Piotr Szczepanik in waiting for refreshing storm. The mystery and tention but in the middle of summer - the worst what could happen is thunder lightning in the distance or jewelry unfortunately lost among the dunes. A moment after getting caught on tape vast majority of "Viper's" tunes were forgotten. Just till the next july. nasiono.net

During my little tour in february I wanted to have something like a tour EP with me, including some new songs to spread. Due to the limited preparation time and conceptual issues I decided to make just a very very limited edition of seven pieces of this one, giving away one on each of the seven nights of shows. It includes seven pieces recorded in the last couple of months of 2008, a mixture of impressions and memories of late summer, fall and approaching winter and one live recording of the tour. Fragile lo-fi folk music by 21 year old singer and songwriter Julia Kotowski aka Entertainment for the braindead (Eftb). This release is published with cooperation of our friends from aaahh records, a brand new German netlabel with georgeous music.
“Hydrophobia” is full of colourful sounds and melodies. Ukulele, guitar and flute are ever-present instruments, just like Julias wonderful voice and her unconventional percussion that consists of jars, cans, boxes, drawers and peppermills.
