Cuefx - International Post-War Chill

label - export label
genre - jazz, nujazz, experimental
release date - 2012

We have decided to celebrate the new year with a new release. It has been prepared by an artist already familiar to Export Label fans. After the singles ‘Natural Thing’ and ‘Whale’, it’s time for Cuefx to present a full-length album. ‘International Post-War Chill’ is both musically and thematically rich; each of the eleven compositions tells a separate story, and touches upon different branches and varieties of jazz. This has been possible thanks to the cooperation of Dominik Strycharski (flutes, vocals, lyrics), Aleksander Papierz (saxophones), Tomasz Barzęc (trumpet, voice) and Jacek Latoń (Cuefx), who supervised the project, and took great care to weave the sounds together for us to fully experience ‘International Post-War Chill’. The album also features guest appearances by prof. Tadeusz Sławek (lecture), dj Jazzbin (scratching) and Elwira Skrobska (voice).
‘International Post-War Chill’ has been released in the limited edition of 220 CDs, available at ExportShop. exportlabel.blogspot.com

B.R.O. - Analog People In A Digital World

netlabel - noecho
genre - nujazz, experimental
release date - 2010

Konrad Zamojski aka Vocem (electronics, production, bass) and Jakub Zamojski aka Outlaw (electronics, production, trumpet, vocal, karimba) started B.R.O. in 2008, they created first pieces and individual, better and worse music projects when they had 12 years old. B.R.O. is synthesis of lot of music ideas ... "Analog People In A Digital World EP", release in Noecho Records from London, UK (this is the large distinction for B.R.O. project) in 1. August 2010 - 2 years after "Etudes EP". The main difference between this two EP's is that in "Analog People..." they didn't use samples only from Polish Jazz, but they also used their own samples, which they recorded in professional music studio and outside. noechorecords.com

The Smallest Bones - Cross Mountain

genre - ambient, experimental
release date - 2010

The Smallest Bones is an instrumental side project of Entertainment for the Braindead. And these five songs, presented in the chronological order of their making, were invented and recorded within a week with an xxs lo-fi setting (laptop + Zoom H2) in a room that used to be my temporary home in Berlin.
The noises you hear: A street musician (Alexanderplatz), a train ride (Neukölln), a yard door (Kreuzberg), a parrot through a closed flat door (Flughafenstraße), a rattling ventilation fan at (Multilayerladen, Kottbusser Tor) old bikes in a backyard (Südstern), an early bird (Hasenheide). - Julia Kotowski

Efvee - Demonstration EP

With The Demonstration Ep, I really worked on putting out a cohesive record. Headphone music that is not a compilation of beats, but formulated like a movie. This record is four tracks that feels like one long composition. Just like a photo I feel music is worth a thousand words as with this record. Im really looking forward to the listeners reaction to The Demonstration EP. noechorecords.com

Foolk - Lush Hour EP

genre - electronic, experimental, glitch-hop
release date - 2009

These eight tracks of small duration came out from live sets of the author — he got his inspiration for this EP directly from himself. In compare with early works, the sound of Foolk became more lacerated and twitchy but this fact just underlines the uniqueness of Dusan's music — with its jazzy variations and with an inevitable using of samples.
According to words of Dusan, this selection of beats and sounds is a good material for those DJs who are attracted to glitched hip-hop stuff. Also the author hopes that ‘Lush Hour’ will be a nice method for listeners to construct their own set of short and dynamic videos in the mind's eye — at any time and in any place if it's possible to use headphones. 56stuff.ru
